Our Process

From idea to finished product

I often have an image in my mind or at least an idea of what I want to achieve before I start taking photographs. Time of day, lighting, weather conditions all play a role. Occasionally I am in the right place at the right time to capture something unique, but this is the exception rather than the rule.

Reviewing the images, deleting, shortlisting, considering what they look like once printed all takes time to ensure I offer my best images

Most of my edits are subtle adjustments to reflect what the eye saw but the camera doesn’t always capture. The more artistic images undergo a different editing process to give them the “look” I am seeking. No matter what the editing process is, it must start with a well deserving image.

Thought goes into the best fine art paper to use, if the image suits both photographic print and / or canvas and the best sizes for reproduction. Only high quality printers using the best inks & product are used. Some images will be limited edition signed & numbered prints.

Once all of the factors involved have come together & I am happy with the outcomes, the images are uploaded to my website and made available for purchase with a number of different options.
